Education
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Languages from Monash University, majoring in Chinese and Japanese, minoring in Linguistics with electives completed in Literature and Korean. I also have a postgraduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) with specializations in English and Language Teaching. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree via correspondence through UNE.
Experience
I am a VIT registered teacher who is WWC exempted. At the moment I am working as an English and Chinese teacher. I have 6 years of experience working as a tutor and 3 years of experience working as a teacher. I achieved 40+ study scores for English, Japanese and Maths Methods while in Year 12. I have an N1 for the Japanese language proficiency test, Level 5 HSK, and majored in Chinese and Japanese at university with a minor in Linguistics. I was successful at Maths and Science in high school which led to the pursuit of further education in these subjects. I have the skills, expertise, and experience to provide interested students with private and personalized tutoring sessions for Music, English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on.
