Additionally, throughout my years in biomedical science I have also tutored biochemistry to a number of undergraduate students, however I have found the most enjoyment in tutoring students within VCE. References from past students are available and may be requested. My hourly rate is $50 per hour with students choosing to have weekly sessions ranging from 1-2 hours depending on their needs. To gain the most out of our time together and for me to really understand the areas in which the student is struggling. I highly recommend starting as early in the year as possible, especially for VCE students.This allows the added bonus of laying a solid foundation and ensuring that main concepts of the subject are grasped before they begin their scheduled coursework at school, which is particularly beneficial for students entering year 12. Sessions are held at Deakin University (Waurn Ponds) library or another agreed upon location.

Hello prospective students! My name is Bianca and I am a final year medical student with 8 years of tutoring experience. I am hoping in the future to specialise to become paediatrician, which is no surprise as I love working with children and young people of all ages! As you can imagine my studies keep me very busy, not to mention my work as a nanny and volunteer commitments! However, I do believe balance to be an important part of life, so when I am not studying/working I love to read, play netball, see live music with my friends, hiking and I love love love baking! I am a warm, friendly, approachable individual and have worked with students from a range of different backgrounds, from those with cognitive deficits to those wanting to achieve top marks in their VCE. I would love to have a conversation with you and your child about their goals and how I can help you achieve them as best you can! My bachelors degree in Biomedical science (honours) has enabled me to have an in depth knowledge of the major concepts within the VCE biology course and offer more thorough explanations regarding the concepts that students find particularly difficult to grasp. I love to help my students have a deeper understanding so they can combat any problem they are faced with in an exam or test situation, as biology exam questions are typically context based rather than simply having to recall information.
